Founders

Lawrence Broadley and Kevin Fox are the two founders of Latitude 56 Degrees Ltd. Both are Product Design graduates from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland. Michael McGregor is the company Non-Executive Director bringing priceless international entrepreneurial experience to LAT56º.

One of the unique selling points is that not only do they have the experience and key knowledge to transform an idea in to a commercial success, Kevin, Lawrence and Michael are also extremely passionate about adventure sports. This has resulted in a collection of innovative products, which meets the needs of the demanding customer and extends the limits for adventure.

Solid Management Team Foundations

The Directors worked with each other throughout a variety of university projects and soon became regular team partners, taking on new challenges both academically and in outdoor pursuits. Kevin and Lawrence also studied in California together, at the internationally acclaimed engineering university, California Polytechnic. During this time they engaged in many of the adventure sports California offers ranging from the Pacific Ocean to the Sierra Nevada Mountains as well as being pro-active on the entrepreneurial scene in California.

It is this past history that has allowed both founders to recognise their strengths within the company, allowing business and design to progress successfully. Bolster this with the support from Michael McGregor and Latitude 56 Degrees has no limits.
