Strathclyde University 2007 Enterprise Awards

Some of Scotland's smartest and most inventive businesses received well-earned recognition at the University of Strathclyde awards ceremony.

LAT56° have been awarded runner's up in the prestegious Strathclyde University 2007 Most Dazzling New Product Idea competition winning £3,000 of bespoke New Product Development support.

Strathclyde's first Enterprise Awards Dinner honoured flourishing companies which have been supported by the University's enterprise network, and in particular, through its entrepreneurial network, Essential.

The international competition was open to Strathclyde students and alumni, attracting over 60 high quality applications. The competition results were announced at the ceremony on the 20th November 2007 in the stunning Barony Halls.

This award adds to a stack of funding achieved over recent times. Latitude 56 Degrees Ltd also received a specific mention in the keynote speech which addressed the highly influential audience with regards to the recent rapid progress of the company.
