Kevin Fox
Co-Founder & Director
Fresh entrepreneur and designer, Kevin Fox is also an avid surfer, marathon runner, road cyclist, mountain climber and rock climber. He is experienced in outdoor survival, and is currently competing in Scottish hill running. Kevin has tested himself on expeditions to some of the most extreme environments in the world, from the deserts of Mexico to the Arctic Circle. He has also recently been in training with the Royal Marine Commandos.
Academically, Kevin Fox graduated top of his class with a degree in Product Design from the University of Strathclyde. Amongst his awards are:
- Winning the "University of Strathclyde 2006 Engineering Design Project Competition"
- Short listed for the "Royal Academy of Engineering 2006 Student Engineering Design Project Competition"
- Nominated for the prestigious "Glasgow 1999 Design Medal Award 2006"
Kevin was awarded the "Glasgow Educational and Marshall Trust" international scholarship to study at one of USA‘s top 10 technical universities, California Polytechnic.
Kevin relishes challenges and believes he can steer Latitude 56 Degrees towards its long term vision of "a passionate global business".
